Besides imparting theoretical knowledge, a lot of stress is laid on hands-on training and overall development of the individual personality. A lot of current technology workshops are conducted in department. Apart from teaching and workshop activities students are also introduced to extra curricular activities, Live Projects, Programming contests, debates, Group Discussions, Presentations etc. 

The department has well qualified and motivated faculty members and support staff. The laboratories are adequately equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The students of UG and PG classes are made familiar with the fundamental to the latest development in computer world.
