The Department of Physics is established in 2012 and continued to furnish the latest demand in the field of education, with a vision to set a stage for designing the future of aspiring students for their success in modern world. Department of Physics is committed to serving the nation through the ongoing innovation in teaching and cutting-edge research as per the new education policy of the government of India.

The department is offering both undergraduate (UG): B.Sc. Hons. Physics, B.Sc. Non-Medical and postgraduate (PG): M.Sc. Physics programs and more than 1000 students are already graduated and placed at reputed institutes across the globe.

Our faculty members have excellent academic qualification and research experience in various fields i.e. Condensed Matter Physics, High Energy Physics, Nuclear Physics, Nanotechnology, Photonics, etc. We consider research experience as a vital part of the education and nurturing the students to take up advanced courses and providing practical experience across the various fields of Physics. Department organized social, cultural and technical events which are conducted under the supervision of faculty members.
