Department of Geography, RPS Degree College, Balana, Mahendergarh has successfully organized a Field trip cum Jungle Safari under the aegis of IQAC on 4 March, 2024. Students of B.A. 6th Sem and M.Sc. Geography 4th sem visited nearby Aravalli Hills along with Head of Department Mr. Anil Kumar, Assistant professor Dr. Hemant Kumar, Assistant professor Dr. Rahul Sharma, Assistant professor Ms. Charu Yadav. The purpose of trip was to make aware students about the local flora and fauna.

Department of Geography, RPS Degree College, Balana, Mahendergarh has successfully celebrated United Nations Organization Day in Collaboration with Dept of Humanities, RPSDC under the aegis of IQAC on 24 Oct, 2024. Expert lecture given by Dr. Kunal Kumar Das(Sr. Scientist, ISRO) on the topic Application of Remote Sensing on 12th August 2023.

Field survey of M.sc.3rd semester students was conducted from 8th to 10 sept 2023 in order to fulfill the practical work.

Students of BA 2nd sem visited Dhosi the extinct volcano and observed the vegetation and rocks there on 5th feb 2023.

On 4th March 2024 Department organized a Jungle Safari to explore the local flora and fauna of Aravali Hills.

On 19th March 2024 a socio-economic survey was carried out by BA 6th sem students of Madhogarh village in order to fulfill the practical work.

On 22nd March 2024 department organized a Speech and Poster Making Competition to celebrate world water day.

On 28th March 2024 a seminar on Geo Spatial Technologies was organized in collaboration with Skyline institute of Geo-informatics Rohtak.
