Department of Life Sciences has an outstanding reputation and list of achievements as a result of our excellent lecturers as well as our dedicated administrative staff who prioritize the student’s interests and needs. Over the course of the years the department has taught students who have gone on to work and serve in a variety of fields.

Department has a dedicated pool of intellectuals by way of its faculty members who have rich and diversified experience of teaching & research. The department has always been attentive to the needs of its students, understanding that the theory learned within our lecture halls be combined with practical knowledge. Our teachers not only provide a solid grounding in the academic theories and concepts of their specialty, they also provide the students practical based training and challenges currently facing their discipline. It encourages students to organize different activities independently or with the support and guidance of faculty such as - conventions, competitions, interaction with professionals, cultural events, sports activities that adds the much needed value by inculcating in them skills, team building, decision making for up-gradation of students knowledge and skills. The teachers make learning experience in classroom and outside the classroom enjoyable and memorable. It has rich resource base by way of a library having e-resources as also hard copies of a large number of books and journals, education software, case depository, technology inputs for imparting education and incubation opportunities.
