Department of mathematics RPSDC, nurtures the students in the area of algebra, analysis, applied math, graph theory, discrete mathematics, numerical analysis. Our program is designed to give students a solid foundation to prepare them for good research work/various competition exams like CSIR-NET, TIFR, IIT-JAM, GRE(subject) etc. along with their academic classes. We have a team of experienced and dedicated teachers. Our atmosphere is friendly and encourage close collaboration between faculty and students. Students are encouraged to attend national/international conferences as well as regional meetings.

The overall goal of the department is for our students to ultimately become well rounded leaders in different area of mathematics.
