Department of Chemistry successfully organized an online expert talk by Dr Vikrant Yadav JSPS Post Doctoral research Fellow, Fuel Cells Nanomaterials Research Centre, University of Yamanashi, Kufu, Japan. Students of M.Sc. Chemistry along with faculty members were attended this session. Students feels very motivated and get valuable knowledge for their further studies.

Dr. Manoj Kumar Gupta, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Central University of Haryana delivered an expert talk on the topic ‘Chemistry in everyday Life’. They majorly focuses his lecture on importance of chemical in everyday life. We are surrounded form chemical from the start day of our daily morning to till night. Students of M.Sc. Chemistrya and B.Sc. Chemistry along with faculty members were attended this session.

Mr Vipin Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Government College, Satnali, delivered an expert talk on the topic ‘Soil and Water Testing. He tell the students during his lecture that how we can detect the fertility rate of our soil samples. During his lecture, he tells some experimental techniques to calculate pH, electrical conductance and presence of minerals in different soil samples and give idea that how we can improve the quality and production of crop in our farms.

Faculty members of Department of Chemistry successfully organized a workshop on ‘Lab safety and Measures’. During the workshop faculty members of science stream along with lab assistant learn how to handle lab chemicals and equipments during practicals. They know about methods of special care during handling of instrument.
